Posting a photograph of their headstones may be the best we can do.
What are the feelings of FamilyTree staff and also the feelings of researchers?
What is the best way to post these cemetery headstones?
1. Do we post them with other photographs of a person?
2. Do we choose them as the photograph for someone who doesn't have an actual photograph of their face?
What are some of the ideas concerning this topic?
Thank you.

To me their signature on a document is golden or having something like an image of their headstone or home is the closest thing to them. I upload those images and enjoy seeing those as a portrait as opposed to the anonymous silouettes.0

I am a big contributor to the www.findagrave.com website and maybe allowing a link to the the findagrave memorial page (if available) might be better. The current photos on findagrave can only be copied by the original contributor due to copyright issues.
Google search and Ancestry both link to the current 97 million memorial pages of findagrave.1 -
