Move patron submitted sources from new.familysearch.org to Family Tree

I have gedcomed many new people from my PAF file into new.familysearch.org. Some had as many as 8 citations of source materials.
If the software does not automatically bring them over into Family Tree I will have to sync each person's sources separately. It would be very time consuming to do so I would probably only do it (as needed) if someone contacted me with a question about an event on a specific person.
Thanks for all you do.

Ron Tanner said: Many sources in new.familysearch.org are of little or no value. We are planning on bringing over sources associated with selectable summary values and non-vital details. We will be other sources over into a legacy source that can be then pasted into a new type of source.
We felt that bringing over all of them would just be bringing over a lot of stuff that people have to clean out. What do you think?
Thanks,

Rex Wayne Shumway said: I agree that many sources are of 'little or no value' and should not be added the Family Tree. Any source which says: "Contributor: TEMPLE" should be left behind. It just clutters up the source list.
Would it make sense to just bring over new patron submitted sources (exclude references to the Ancestral File and Pedigree Resource File)? The two files have few real 'sources' in them.
I have uploaded many GEDCOM files with new people and sources like: 1850 census ..., or Social Security Death Index. I hope there is a way to move these sources into the Family Tree.
Thanks for all you do and God bless you to make wise choices.

That said the sources of "little or no value" Should still be included just under a legacy sources link.0 -

I must admit - I was not one of those. I do like the source system in Family Tree but do understand that patrons who have spent time generating source information in new FamilySearch would like it to be somehow transferred to Family Tree.
I believe it is in the plan and suggest that we just be patient. We know that the source features in tree are going to change. We have hints that sources will be attached to events (such as birth, marriage) instead of just one large list. This is very logical and helpful so that if you question an event you can easily see the source documentation rather that going to a large list to determine which source applies.0 -

However, as a user since 2007, I've been careful to add source documentation to many people on my lines, and I shudder to think of re-entering (or even copying and re-pasting) all of it. Actually, I know I won't have time to do that. So I guess I shudder at losing all that work.
It seems to me that the low-value sources are the duplicate sources created automatically by FamilySearch/Temple. I have personally found the extraction sources very helpful because they've led me to films that further my research (but I just need one copy of those sources )
When I look at my sources in new FamilySearch, I'm clearly marked as a contributor. Ron, could you only move over the sources contributed by current users of nFS and extraction?
