Perhaps giving details of the meeting to which you are referring will help somebody in providing you with an answer.

I believe that you are referring to the ('On-Line'), "Monthly" Meetings, on the FIRST Thursday of each Month, for the "FHC Technical Support (North America)".
.
[ FYI: Next meeting is 7 January 2021 ]
.
As such ...
.
I am "Tagging" this (General) 'Question' of yours, to the (Private) 'Group' being "FHC Technical Support (North America)", in this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; so that, the members of that group can answer/assist you.
.
Just in case ...
.
IF, you have responsibility for a "Family History Centre" (FHC); and, your FHC is located in "North America"; THEN, if you have not already, you can "Request" to "Join" that (Private) 'Group'.
.
I hope this helps.

@Paul W @will watkins1 I was thinking the same thing as Paul W. I am aware of at least two Thursday meetings pertaining to the FamilySearch Community groups (and there may be a number of other types of groups of interest to genealogists and family history researchers that also have some type of Thursday meeting). I personally attend two completely different ones on the first Thursday of every month, for example. Brett only took an educated guess at one of them with which he is familiar, but we don't know if that's the one @will watkins1 is interested in. There is also one associated with the Family & Community - Connect and Inspire group. Both are on the first Thursday of every month.
And now we see a response from FHC tech support lead with the links to the Thursday meeting for that particular group. But that's a private group for FHC leaders and stake tech support specialists, etc. If @will watkins1 is part of a FHC leadership team or a stake tech support rep or a high councilor over T&FH, then he can call FamilySearch Support and they can help him get access to that group (it does not show up in a public search as an available group).
But if it happens to be about the Family & Community - Connect and Inspire group, just search for that group, join it, and the information is posted right there in the group.
In either of those cases, it would be best to read through a number of previous posts to get a good feel for what the group is discussing, what the monthly meetings are about, etc., before attending the meetings, or they may seem irrelevant to you. The meetings themselves are not designed for basic introduction into the group, since those attending the meetings in both groups are already involved in discussions about the subject matter of those groups, and generally there are specific topics scheduled for discussion in the meetings.
Or it it's some other type of meeting or on line class, the same thing would apply - get familiar with the organization or group hosting the meeting in order to provide yourself the best experience in the meeting, and not feel out of place.
So yes - please explain what the "Thursday meeting" is about to which you wish to gain access, and then you can be better directed. It may not have even required reposting into the additional group if it didn't even pertain to the FHC tech support (North America) group.

Chris
FYI
Far from an educated guess.
Although, my responses of this nature ...
Are often, 'Copy'; and, 'Paste' (sometimes, with 'tweaks') ...
[ In this case, in my haste, of forget to delete the last paragraph ]
[ As, I am interstate, visiting Family, over Christmas/New Year ]
I had noticed that he was a member of the "FHC Technical Support (NA)"
And, not a member of the "Family & Community—Connect & Inspire!"
Which, I am; and, what has been going on there in that group.
Hence, my response.

No need to apologise ...
In fact, never apologise for asking questions.

It is not a matter of 'clumsiness' ...
We all make mistakes or have those forgetfully moments ...

I make more mistakes than most ...
And, my 'better half' (Wife), reminds me of that, each and every day ...

Enjoy that FIRST (Monthly) "Thursday" Meeting for the New Year (2021) ...
.
I am just glad I could help.

I hope you had a good Christmas and New Year ...

Doug
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
I could be wrong; and, I stand corrected if I am ...
I would humbly suggest the "Eastern" (ET) one ...
As per:
"Groups" Section
HOME > GROUPS > FAMILY HISTORY CENTERS TECHNICAL SUPPORT (NORTH AMERICA)
Family History Centers Technical Support (North America)
1st Thursday "The Tech Talk Guys" Links:
- Eastern "The Tech Talk Guys" 7:00 pm (ET)
- Western "The Tech Talk Guys" 7:00 pm (PT)
- Hawaiian "The Tech Talk Guys" 7:00 pm (HT)
I will mention one of the "Leaders" of the aforementioned 'group' here, to hopefully confirm.
@Ken Richins - NAO Tech Support Lead
I hope this helps. somewhat.
