Suggestion for Adding Immigration Records from Museu da Imigração

Hello,

I recently came across a valuable source of data that I believe could be a great addition to the FamilySearch platform. The Acervo Digital do Museu da Imigração (link) contains historical immigration records from Brazil, including documents, books, and other materials that are highly relevant for genealogical research, especially for those researching immigration histories and family records from people who came to Brazil.

Would it be possible to suggest this source for inclusion on FamilySearch? I believe it could greatly benefit researchers working with Brazilian immigration data.

Looking forward to your thoughts and guidance on how I might proceed with this suggestion.

Thank you!

Best regards,
Ricardo Valim

Generally, FamilySearch must be invited by the record holder. Then, contracts are developed for the sharing of information.

This article dates from a few years ago, but it describes the process. https://familytreemagazine.com/websites/familysearch/familysearch-digitize-records/
