Why have 'system dates' changed format in several areas?

I am looking at a Merge screen and the 'Added' date format has changed from 'Added: 20 March 2020' to 'Added: March 20th, 2020'. I also see it on 'Edit' pages, i.e., Last Changed: November 19th, 2023.

This is not a date field standardization, rather a system information standardization.

Please use standardized dates throughout the FamilyTree. Both for fields and for other information.

Standardized dates make it easier to recognize and compare dates. Different formats are distracting and can be confusing, especially those that are new to FamilySearch.

Thank you.

I see that from time to time as well. I suspect the cause may be another one of the standardization algorithms.

I've noticed the same issue and wondered why this happened. I agree that the standardized date system be in use in all areas of the website — consistency is important in an effort of this magnitude.
