Has anyone else had trouble using United States, Virginia, Campbell County, Wills and Deeds?

The total format has changed and the search feature does not seem to be working. The records I could find last week, I have not been able to find using the organization just introduced. I have been forced to go to ancestry.com to find the same records. And there is no way to let anyone at familysearch.org know how difficult the new organization is to use. What are we supposed to do?

If you are using the Full Text Search, there is a dedicated group where the developers responsible are made aware of any issues. https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/336-full-text-search-feedback

I can't even get in to Full Text Search. I can't reach those tech people. I do not attend Roots Tech meetings. What I can say is that I am signed in, but can't seem to make much of anything work as it was working just three days ago. I see no place to read about the new format, nor do I want to waste my time trying to get to the records I need. My bottom line seems to be that familysearch no longer wants us to use their website and prefers that we use ancestry? The tech folks playing with AI are doing a lousy job!

Full Text Search is a Labs Experiment. That means you have to enable it (turn it on). Here's the page where you turn it on: https://www.familysearch.org/en/labs/

No, Family Search is not trying to turn users away. The opposite is true since they keep adding new ways to search.

Now it is all working as intended. Hooray! I personally think the print is too small and light, but that is manageable. You have no idea how important it is to me to have the "new" website easy to use. I am citing right after each fact I state, where the fact can by verified by original record, in an article I will be placing online, for free to use. Many of my citations refer to original records on familysearch - down to the image number level. The article will be over 100 pages. Cheers, Donna Munger. PS: I have used familysearch.org since it went online. Before that I began using family history centers in 1975.
