Allow me stay logged in until I log out

I noticed that the option to remain signed in for two weeks has been discontinued. I always thought it was odd that there was a two week limit. Most sites allow continuous login, like Amazon for one. Why do you insist that I have to log in every time I return to the tab I keep open? Please allow continuous login so we don't have to sign in every time.
