Hello,

I would like to ask/request that all vital records for Greensboro, Orleans County, Vermont be opened and made available for viewing. Vermont is an open access state and these records should be available for viewing.

Please consider renegotiating the contract between Familysearch.org and the entity that controls access to these vital records:

Film# 2231274 (houses most vital records and indexes for this location) should be available for public viewing.

Thanks,

Tom

As I explained in your other, similar, message, you have posted on the public Community Forum. Someone authorized to speak for the city needs to contact FamilySearch directly. https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/153591/scanning-missed-records-for-stannard-caledonia-county-vermont

I feel your pain. I have the same complaint about other records. I wish a lot of records from Liverpool, England (from the early 1800s) were public.

It's sad (for me) that even the records of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (which would help with genealogy) from the 1800s aren't public. I don't understand. The 1800s were a long time ago and those people don't need privacy still.
