Also having trouble with filters on my Following list

So it should not be a computer issue if Chrome is up to date. Hope you can get and post a good example so they can start working on it.

Could you post a bit more information about what you are running into? I tested things out by creating the labels you mention and attaching them both one at a time and in combinations. Applying the filters appear to work just fine as you can see here:
Only people with the correct label stayed on the list when applying the filter. Could you post a screen shot like these that show the labels you have created, which one is picked, and a portion of your following list that shows someone who should not be on list for that filter who is still there?

I appreciate your efforts to respond. I don't know how to do a screenshot. I can't even see how to respond individually to your comments above. Did this answer my question? Yes No is definitely not enough and does not allow a real response. I would just like my following to show me only Reserve baptism when I select that choice and not mix in many other labels. I can understand the complexity of asking for more than on choice on the sort and I can live with that. It is difficult when you are sorting through 1300 plus people that you are following to have more than one category show up.

@BettyAnnRiceElliott @Gordon Collett
The same filtering problem occurs on my following list. Whenever I select a filter, near the top of the filtered list will be the chosen ones of the correct filter. But as I scroll down the list, more & more other names without the correct label are mixed into list. It is a bothering thing, that's for sure. I usually will go through the list until there are more "incorrect" names than "correctly filtered" names. Then I will change the view from "descending" to "ascending" and that will put more correctly filtered names at the top of the list. I will then go through the list, doing whatever I needed to do, until it ,again, shows a lot of incorrect names for that label. Eventually, as I work through the list, I will begin to see names I've worked on in the "descending" view. At that point, I figure I've gotten through most, if not all, of the people for the particular label that I had wanted to work on.
I use the 10 set labels & all of the 10 custom labels. I don't know if having more labels causes the filtering problem to happen. Or perhaps the number of people I have on my Following list; which is near 1900. So when I choose a particular label to filter, there could be 100's of names with that label.

This is exactly my problem but I do not know how to screenshot as Gordon requested

I don't know how to "screenshot" either.

The trouble with problems like these are that they tend to require just as much information as possible for the engineers to test out what is going on. They need to know what type of device you are using, the operating system, the browser you are using, the browser version. If using the mobile app, which version you are using.
Can either of you, @BettyAnnRiceElliott or @LAHS6 supply that information to start with? it might be something as simple as an outdated browser.
Betty Ann, how many people are you following? How many labels are you using? My test with only 2 provided and 3 custom labels with 824 people followed worked just fine. Maybe the two of you by maxing out the system have broken it and if so that flaw needs to be found and fixed.
Let's see how far we can get without screen shots.

I am using Chrome on a PC laptop. It actually worked for sealing to parents and sealing to spouse today. So maybe it is only when I am reserving baptisms. I am on a Lenovo laptop if that makes a difference. I have intel core i5 if that makes a difference. My chrome was updated recently. And I need to follow that many people. I have no other way of keeping track of my 110 year rule people and the people that are most closely related to me.There is no way to search for all my first and second cousins and keep track of the ordinances they need. I have 9600 people shared with the temple. I can't begin to go back through all of them everytime I want to print names for the temple. Especially since we can only have 300 on our reservation list now.
I usually have 12 to 1300 people on follow at any one time.

The problem at https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/145635/possible-bug-on-filter-by-label-for-people-im-following seems similar and looks to be caused by the number of labels that are being filtered. I escalated that. If your situation is the same, I can add this discussion to the report.
Screenshots can be done in different ways. My keyboard has a "Print screen" key which takes a picture of everything on my screen. Using Windows 10, I like to use a program called "Snip & Sketch" that came installed. You can find it by clicking the magnifying glass in your task bar.

Thank you. I will try that the next time it shows up.

I'm pretty sure I'm not maxing out the system nor breaking it since it is possible to "follow" 4000 names and the program allows 20 labels. I have less than 1900 names on my list. I usually use Firefox; most current version available.
I noticed that there are other threads in Community that are having the same problem.

Where are the other discussions? Maybe there are some clues there.
Testing complex programs is really hard. There may be something that did not upscale to 1900 names and all 20 labels that never got tested at that level.

Interesting. In that discussion, the moderator said that her list displayed just fine after she closed the options window. Still would be a bug but at least that would be a simple work around while they work on fixing it.
Have you tried that? Open the Options, set the filter, then close the Options and see if you get only the correct labels.

Closing the "options" window makes no difference. I tried it, per your suggestion.
Unfortunately, the screen shot only shows a few names. But you can see by the label selected in "options" that only the names with the label "end of line" should be showing.
Another example; here I reduced the size in order to show more names and different label. The label chosen was "data problem".

It seems, by the examples tried, that the more names with a particular label, the less effective the filtering system is.
Even when I chose a label that is attached to a few people, there is no problem with the filter function.
Perhaps, when the label/filtering program was set up, it was not tested for large numbers that the Following list allows (4000), or the large numbers of names that one might apply with a particular label.

So a real bug, reproduced by multiple people, and reported to the engineers in June. Hope it won't take more than a few months for them to find the problem and get it fixed.

I have been told that this has been fixed. Please let me know if you are still seeing the problem on your end. Thanks.
