FamilySearch Places, Suggest A New Place - add category 'Other'
1 - There are many Irish townlands missing, but there's no 'Townland' category in Suggest A New Place
2 - The Irish RC parishes that I need aren't in FamilySearch Places, but there's no 'RC Parish' category in Suggest A New Place
3 - I'm sure there are many other country specific place categories
Perhaps a single 'Other' category could be added to the list below ?

They keep trying to simplify or shorten that list. (In which case, what's the difference between a hamlet and a village?) But I think in a case of "none of the above", it's simplest to just use the places-feedback email address directly (placefeedback@familysearch.org).

I raised a similar issue recently, but relating to "Parish" being excluded as a "Select a Category" option. As it's a choice I'm given in the drop-down list (for the majority of my searches, relating to events that took place in England, etc.) I would have expected it to at least have been given precedence over something like "School".

I've just run into a missing parish too.
Considering Julia's and Paul's comments together with the suggestion, perhaps a better option would be to put something like this at the bottom of the Select A Category pop-up ?
"For categories not listed above please send your new place suggestion via email to placefeedback@familysearch.org"
