PLEASE FIX THIS: "The Restore Request Has Failed"
Hi, many users don't know how to use FamilySearch properly and make changes that cause information to be lost. Later, when we try to fix the mess caused by them, we get the message "Restore request failed". In fact, this error message has been popping up since the new redesign and to such an extent that I can't even remember any successful attempts to restore to a previous state since then.
To give an example, the individual removed a relationship from L51L-9VF, later realizing the mistake and recreating the relationship but doing so in a way that caused loss of information. All my attempts to restore the record to its previous state failed with the above error message.
This is not an isolated case though. I monitor hundreds of records and every time I get a notification about changes it's the same thing: several records to fix and the same error message when trying to restore the records.
Before the redesign, I was always able to restore to a previous state, fixing all the mess caused by reckless users. But now, the only remedy is to re-enter all lost information manually, which takes time and effort to review and update properly. Ultimately this is causing quite a significant number of records to be neglected due to lack of time to fix them.
FS dev team, please I urge you to take the time to fix the issues with the restore functionality!
Thanks

Almost always when I run into this message, it is because part of the restore connect with a relationship to person who as been deleted in a merge. Often restoring that other person first lets the restore be successful. I've never had to completely re-enter information. But it can be difficult to determine what order of restoring profiles is required.
