Password Sync

I recently changed my password to access church records, leader & clerk resources, etc. at the suggestion of an automated message from the ChurchofJesusChrist.org website. When I attempted to sign-on to Familysearch.org it indicated that neither my new password nor my old one was acceptable.

When I signed up for Fmailysearch.org it indicated that it would use my id and password for the ChurchofJesusChrist.org website, which it did, but now does not. This is likely going to be very confusing to a number of people and require the resetting of multiple passwords, which seemed to be what the use of a single password was design to avoid.

It would be good if this could get linked together, so that all Familysearch.org passwords get updated as a result of altering any of the related passwords.

Here are an article and a discussion to review.

I repeatedly receive the error "username or password was incorrect" when I try to sign in to FamilySearch
