Shorthand for records in person notes

The notes section for many of my ancestors contains a shorthand for records that I don't completely understand, in lieu of attached sources. They all seem to have been added in 2013.

For example, https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LCTS-233 contains:

2150499 marr rec, p10 1854 #36

2150506 marr rec ped chrt p25

2150503 death age 81y rec p237#154 1875

2150505 1826 church census p3750 age 30y

What does it mean? How do I find the actual records? Thanks!

I located the first one. It means that on film# 2150499 in the marriage records the marriage record is found on p. 10 and is item 36 on that page. To find this, go to Search/Catalog on FamilySearch.org. Search for the film #. It will bring up this collection:

Click the link for this collection. The note indicated that it is a marriage in 1854 and you have the film #. Scroll down the list looking for Matrimoni including the year 1854 with the film# 2150499, then click the camera icon. This will bring up the film. Now you need to find the right year in the records. I recommend identifying where groupings stop and start. This collection has indexes at the beginning of the groupings. Look for the records for 1854. In this case the image is found on 634 of 1173. It is the marriage record of Catarina Sparacio and Antonio Marino Coniglio. It's on page 10 and line item 36, which happens to be the top of the page.

Hope this helps! Find this one and then follow the pattern to see if you can find the rest.

    Sam 😊

@Nanotetrahedron The notes were added by user ShirleyR. Have you contacted her? By clicking on the user name, you have the option to communicate directly with the person who added those notes.

That said - those notes appear to reference a film number, a record type, a page, a year, and a record number. In 2013, there were not nearly so many images online or the ability to link directly to an image.

For example - 2150499 is Registri ecclesiastici di Prizzi (Palermo), 1566-1910 covering marriages 1819 through 1868.
