I have created GEDCOM files from both FTM and Ancestry.

 First, which file do you suggest I load to FamilySearch? They've both been synced.

Second, how do I go load the selected file to FamilySearch?

Thanks

    @SSGTJack

    You can upload whichever one you want. If they are the same, it should not matter.

    The process of uploading can be found in the article at

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-upload-my-gedcom-file

    Note that the file is not being uploaded directly into Family Tree. After uploading, you can transfer names into Family Tree using the Compare facility. Chances are that a large number of your names are already in Family Tree and the idea is to try to avoid needless duplication.

    If you do use the Compare feature, I recommend using extreme care. The system for identifying duplicates seems far weaker than the normal system. I have added names using Compare only to find immediately that they are duplicates. Better is to search out duplicates yourself before you use the Compare function.
