Image spans to next page -error message says 'forbidden'
UK—Principal Probate Registry, 1858–1957 [Part O][M9B9-L46]
I am trying to check the indexers last two boxes on a two sided page. Usually you go to the next image and it lets you type or check the remainder of the image. I get the "forbidden' message and not the side-by-side next page image. I have left it for a few days but the message remains the same. I have yet to check the indexers work for Court and County.
I cannot assume the Indexer is right as there are errors in the batch so far. What do I do.?
Thank you.

Sorry I had taken a new batch. It expires on the 17th. I would like to know how I can access the next image to review correctly but can’t because of “forbidden “ message. Thanks.

Hi Mary Ellen, I had two different questions up at the same time. This one is about not being able to see the next image of the last part entry on my batch for reviewing. It has an error message instead saying “access forbidden” and no image. I have till the 17th before it is expired.
Did you mean @patrickcox6 can answer this one as well. It’s United Kingdom.
He mentioned he was comfortable doing Australian ones only on the Albany Passenger list question so haven’t tagged him on the UK ones.
Thanks very much.
Sandy Evans.

Hi Sandy, I've not had experience in the UK Probate records so can't assist. As it is not an Australian or New Zealand record, others may have access to these records and be able to help.
Cheers, Patrick

Were you able to see my answer to Mary Ellen?
I have not expected it of you. I put up two different questions in a few days. I haven’t needed to ask any for awhile but for some reason the sign in message says I’m new but have been active in “Community Help” for some time and indexing since 2005.
Im fine with having your help on Australia- New Zealand ones. I’m a Kiwi so choose yours and our batches first.
I also do UK ones for my own Family History “pay-back” helps.
If it’s okay as stated, I will tag you for “down under” help.
Thanks Sandy Evans.

Hi Sandy, Yes I was just introducing you to Patrick for your Kiwi & Aussie batches. Though I've got lots of UK in my family - England, Wales, Canada -- I've done mostly U.S. batches -- lots like we're a couple of indexing "old-timers" -- I tried looking at [M9B9-L46] a couple of times-overjoyed to see it's all typed - then realized I can't see reference pages on a Shared Batch -- you can while reviewing and I'm sure you already have looked - access forbidden would be a better topic for Melissa Himes --- as for the sign-in showing you're new, its my understanding that since Web Indexing circa 2012, we all show up as "new" --maybe just new to the Forum -- I've relied more on the community help since 2018 than ever before - Best Wishes Mary Ellen

I appreciate that Mary Ellen, I had used “Feedback” originally because I thought it may be a technical issue, but got no response.
Do I search for Melissa Hines or have you alerted her?
Thanks for helping sort this.

Hi Sandy, a bit of a muddle of messages at times, but it looks like you are making sense of it all!😁
Yep, fine to contact me re Australia and New Zealand, but it seems that you have much more experience with indexing than me (I started 3 months ago!😊).

Here is a link to a comment/tip where I show you how (usually) to access the reference images even when the “forbidden” message appears while you are indexing or reviewing. It also (usually) works when you are viewing a shared batch.

Hi @Sandyevans6 -- about different helpers like Melissa, I check this Forum every day and read all the new questions/answers for everything -- check John Empoliti in this same thread - he's already given us the very best answer for reference pages - its technical but there's ways around obstacles like these & we all love to help each other and there's lots of excellent helpers --I learn something new every day 😎
