What is missing?? The instructions for finding who is following someone are either incomplete or wrong. Where are the three dots to the right of the name? What is meant by in Family Tree? Neither the person's record page nor any option under tree show 3 dots.
- In Family Tree on the FamilySearch website, click Following.
- To the right of the person's name, click the three dots:
- Click the option that identifies how many users are following that person.
- To send a FamilySearch message, click the user's name.

Under Options you need to select under "View By" - choose Person. Then you will see the menu (3 dots) to see who is following that person. This function only works when viewing the Following list by Person.

How do I correct parent-child relationships in Family Tree?

Where has the link to find out my Temple Ready list of work to be done gone?
0 -
Thank you for cleaning them up. Most of us have inadvertently created duplicates and had to resolve them! Amy's post has the information you need. Merge them. Copy the PID of the duplicate, use the merge by id link on an individual summary page of the one you want to keep, paste the duplicate PID and carry out the merge. Repeat as necessary until there are no more duplicates. Every time any record is created, even if a duplicate, it is treated as a separate person so that is why they should be merged.

There is a tree of my family that has gross errors. How do I correct it?
0 -
Cheryl7,779, it depends on what the errors are. It could be as simple as removing a child that belongs to another family. If the wrong people were merged, you can unmerge them, but that has a few more steps than merging. If it is dates/places, you can edit them. The above links posted by Amy Archibald provide information on many kinds of issues. I would suggest messaging the person(s) who contributed erroneous information. Depending on their permissions settings, you may be able to see your relationship to them. If you go to latest changes on the right side of the record, then click show all, you can see all changes and who did them.

They have her marked as living but she died in August 2022.

Sounds like info just hasn't been updated - you can edit the field and provide the data (date, place) to update the record. Enter reason why it is correct (personal knowledge, attached obituary, or whatever you would like)

where do I go to input the death date for my Grandmother

On her person record, under vitals, find death, click edit. Change living to deceased and enter the information - date and place of death, along with the reason the information/change is correct

I contributed to my family tree. I see an error in the number of siblings my mother had. I did not make that mistake but is there some way I can fix it?
1 -
Yes, it is fairly easy. However, would suggest first contacting the person who made that change. If you click the edit icon by the erroneous sibling's name, you can see who made that connection. Alternatively, look on the right for latest changes, select show all, then find the person(s) who added those siblings. Message them and tell them what you are changing, why, and your relationship.
If you know the correct family, who the parents were for those siblings, then use the edit icon to replace the erroneous parents with the correct parents. If you have no idea, then you can simply remove the sibling. Please make sure to explain what you are doing, to help someone else who might want to try to add them.

How can I get help to submit names of ancestors who were born over 110 years ago, but a note comes up saying that I need permission for someone born within the last 110 years. The person's birth date is 1910, but I have no death date. I have submitted a lot of individuals names for temple work following that guideline, but why is the warning coming up on this person: GHM3-C13? as well as his younger siblings?
