He was removed from those 2nd parents on June 29. The Discovery Page hasn't yet been updated to include this change. The pages are updated infrequently by a manual process.

Thank you. I have now discovered this time delay

Manual? Seems very inefficient. Seriously diminishes the usefulness of discovery pages.

I was not very happy with the Ancestry Discovery Page for my great grandfather George William Ford Simmons. It only shows his second wife in the Time Line and I could not find anyway to change that, even though his first wife is the preferred wife. It there a way to make that change or show both?

what if the Surname Directory does not have any of your ancestors Names?

You can access the Discovery Page for a FamilySearch Family Tree person, by going to their detail page in the family tree and then clicking on this button at the top right corner of the browser page:

I love the discovery pages but I have a question. How do you add information to those pages. I am a daughter and it does not show on the page. Thanks.

The Ancestor Discovery Pages only show the information for deceased persons as these pages are publicly searchable on Google and FamilySearch is protecting the privacy of living individuals.

Why is it so hard to get to these discovery pages. Why can't there be a link from a person's page in familysearch

Eeesh. This new page is one hot mess. It looks like it was put together by a 12-year-old.
PLEASE reconsider this ill-advised redesign and stick with the clean, fact-based design esthetic of the current setup. I don't mean to be harsh, but it really is awful.

You should be able to send a message to yali by clicking on the name. You can also edit the information yourself but good practice to contact the person entering the wrong information first.

Weird - clicked the submit post and got a new option but no confirmation on the last one, so this may be a duplicate.
Generally like the presentation, but the Family Time Line widget is off a bit - the children are not sorted in date order, so the presentation does not align properly to the timeline bar as you can see here https://ancestors.familysearch.org/LDHT-JNY/emma-anna-cook-1848-1909 and in this screen shot
Thanks for taking a look at it - Sheri

The pages don't update immediately, but in a batch process every couple of weeks. I removed the "about" from the birth of George Cook, so it just shoes 1858. Check it again in a couple weeks and see if the timeline has been updated.

I would like to know how to correct information found on family search. There is a member who has taken it upon himself to develop family trees for people not related to him. When I have contacted him to tell him he is wrong, he blocks me from seeing his trees.
For example, my father Joseph Peter DeFrancesco did not live in New York City. He did not have a sister named Fooma. My grandparents Leonard and Columba DeFrancesco had 4 children -- Sebastian, Michael, Joseph, Isabel. In a couple of census records Fanny was mentioned. Fanny was a daughter-in-law. She was married to Sebastian.
I would appreciate some feedback as to how to correct information. Thank you.
