Someone creating multiple duplicates of same people
There is an individual who is putting in multiple duplicates (of the same people) every day. They show up on my phone as tasks. I messaged him but each day, there were many more. Most of the time, each person gets added three or four times plus the original record. There are also **** couples added. The common people are Andre Peltier, ID# LZ6M-DMY, and his wife Marie Joseph Catherine Meloche. Catherine's parents keep getting added over and over, as well as others related to this family. The Jean Baptiste Charbonneau family (father is ID#LCXN-D5Q) and those connected are also getting three or four sets of parents added. You can see the history of this by viewing the changes for Jean Baptiste Charbonneau. What else can I do besides messaging him? There are notes and sources attached to the main records of these people if he legitimately had questions. I also question as to why he is even concerned with these people. They are grandparents to me and he and familysearch says he and I aren't even related. Please advise. Thank you, Lisa Jensen

This is likely someone using a FamilySearch Family Tree partner program. They are not working on Family Tree, and may have email notifications turned off. They may even be unaware that what they are doing elsewhere is creating duplicates on Family Tree.
FamilySearch saying you are not related does not mean you are not related. If this other contributor is using a partner program they may not have attached their own profile to their ancestors on Family Tree.
You could try leaving Notes for the person on the new duplicates. There is a chance the other contributor will see them. However, if you want the other contributor to delete the duplicates then you should not change them yourself. Once a new profile is changed in any way by a second contributor, it cannot be deleted. It can be gotten rid of only by merging.

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
Sounds concerning ...
As such ...
There are some, actions that one can take; and, options available for you to pursue through 'FamilySearch' "Support"...
Here are some "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch', that somewhat addresses your problem/issue.
Here is the FIRST "Knowledge Article":
How can I prevent other people from making inaccurate changes to Family Tree?
Now ...
After that ...
As you can 'see', "Collaboration" needs to be undertaken.
But, when "Collaboration" FAILS; and, provided that there is NO "Abuse" ...
Then, there is this "Knowledge Article" in 'FamilySearch':
How do I report changes or problems made by other contributors?
that comes to the fore ...
In particularly, the last sentence in that "Knowledge Article"; which, is very IMPORTANT:
Quote
------------------
If you have questions regarding inadvertent, suspicious or potentially malicious errors in records that you are unable to resolve per the instructions above, contact FamilySearch Support.
------------------
But ...
That Said ...
Once a particular situation/circumstance, really border on that of "Abuse" ...
There is this "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch':
How do I report abuse, spam, inappropriate memories, and other content?
comes to the fore.
Now ...
All That Said ...
As such ...
IF, you have undertaken "Collaboration" with the particular User/Patron in question, causing concern; and, that "Collaboration" has FAILED (eg. NO Response); and/or, there is "Abuse"; THEN, you can, either,
(1) For a "Private" communication ...
Contact 'FamilySearch' "Support" DIRECTLY via the,
(a) Telephone; and,
(b) an "Live ('On-Line') "Chat"
To keep the communication "Private", if you are directed back to this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, insist that you do not want to do so; and, prefer that the matter be handled "Privately".
Whereas,
(2) For a communication is "Public" view ...
'Post' HERE in "Community.FamilySearch" Forum; and, HOPEFULLY, the "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ] HERE in this Forum, can TAKE the MATTER directly into the workings of 'FamilySearch' "Support", to help/assist you; and, communicate with you "Privately" via/through either, ("Private") 'Messaging' in 'FamilySearch' (or, the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum); and/or, DIRECT "E-mail".
And ...
IF, you want, keep any 'Post' here, in the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, to a minimum, devoid of, "Personal" Information about one's self; and, even, not providing information about any Ancestors, just a precis of the matter; and, requesting a "Private" communication directly from 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel).
------------------
Hopefully, a "Moderator" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ], here in this Forum, WILL take this matter of yours, into the Workings, of 'FamilySearch' "Support", to better assist you.
------------------
Remember:
You are not alone ...
Most of us have ... been then ... done that ... still do.
Plus, it is a 'Slow' process, the whole thing often takes some time, to resolve.
Good Luck.
I know, that this certainly may not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective; plus, an avenue to pursue.

This person finally got back to me. It was gedcom files uploaded multiple times and he didn’t know it was making such a mess. Why are gedcom files still allowed? I guess that is a different topic.

Just in passing ...
'Yes' ...
You are correct ...
Certainly ANOTHER (Ongoing; and, in fact, Current) "Topic" of discussion ...
MANY, have been COMPLAINING, about the DAMAGE, the "Upload", of "GEDCOM Files, into the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', can; and, does, make.
And, ALSO "Requesting", that the ability, to "Upload", of "GEDCOM Files, into the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', be STOPPED.
Here are just some very recent posts ...
Suggest An Idea

[ 1 ]
STOP 🛑 allowing Gedcoms to be uploaded to the main tree
[ 2 ]
Gedcoms

[ 3 ]
Do a sanity check on GEDCOM, before allowing input to Family Tree
Just my thoughts.
Brett
ps: I am a proponent, of STOPPING, the ability, to "Upload", of "GEDCOM Files, into the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'.
