Can I add sources I have to family search?
One of my grandmothers cousins, has compiled a ton detailed history on our family. I have scanned it all onto the computer but I don't know what to do with it. Can I submit it to be indexed? (its a few hundred pages). Should I just go through and add all new information to my tree? As of current I have it uploaded to my memories.

Hello @Isaac J Nelson,
Thank you for your question about incorporating information you received from your grandmother's cousin into Family Tree. You are most fortunate to have this valuable information about your family!
Here is what you can do to add information that is missing:
- Sign in to FamilySearch.
- Navigate to the Person page of the individual for whom you have an outside source. (If the person is not found, you will need to create a new record for your ancestor.)
- Click the Sources tab. (This is third from the left under the main header.)
- Click Add Source.
- Click Add New Source.
- Enter information about the source.
- Enter an event date. The date allows you to sort sources chronologically.
- Enter a title for the source.
- Click Add a Memory to upload a memory or choose an item from your Gallery.
- Add a citation that explains where the record is found.
- Describe the record. You can enter a transcription of a source or an explanation of a memory item.
- Enter a reason to attach the source.
- Click in the boxes for each event that the source documents.
- If you want the source to be in your Source box, leave the option checked. Otherwise, click to uncheck it.
- Click Save.

You have indicated that you want to share information that has been compiled about your family history at FamilySearch and you asked specifically if you can request that these records be indexed.
Indexing is the process of taking information from historical records images and putting it into a digital format. Indexing turns the records into searchable sources, allowing researchers to find and attach them to ancestors in their family tree in FamilySearch. FamilySearch does not accept personal requests to index records you may have collected through your own family history research. This knowledge article about upcoming indexing projects might be of interest to you. Be sure you also review the additional knowledge article that can be accessed through the embedded link at the bottom of this article.
It sounds like you have already done a great job of sharing the information you have compiled by uploading information as Memories. You may also want to create sources from these uploaded memories as explained in the post that was provided by @bathompson
Best wishes as you continue to share information about your ancestors at FamilySearch.
