Usually I've found that sending a message to someone, or an email, is an exercise in futility. I rarely get an answer. In one case, a conversation got started and it seems the other person wandered off or died or something, right in the middle. So usually if I need to contact someone, I just don't. The same goes for Collaboration, whether putting a Note or a New Discussion. I just figure it out myself or ask somebody In Real Life.

Now, if I'M discouraged about this, I deduce that 99% of everybody else is also, which would explain why people don't contact me in situations where it would obviously be a good thing.

OK, to improve this sad situation, I'd like my Contact Info, which to others looks something like this:

I would like it to look like this:

contact 2.png

The words "actively monitored" could be based on my performance in responding to messages, or to a check email sent to me once in a while.

It kinda looks like this post fell into the same hole I was lamenting. Maybe the word would be "pining". Excellent word.
