I have a surname, O'Neal, but the field won't take the apostrophe. How should I index it?

Field Help, Surname, "In web indexing, you can include punctuation when typing names and place-names; however, including punctuation is not required."

As Evan stated we would not put in the apostrophe. A space is not required however as per the Project Instructions, What to Remember about this project, How to index names, bullet point 8, "When typing a name that has an apostrophe, such as "O'Connor," do not include a space before or after the apostrophe."

Thank you for asking! And thank you, Evan, for answering this question!

I believe when that happens you are supposed to put a space rather than an apostrophe, so O'Neal would be entered as O Neal.
