Hello @Chester Helmeczi
Have you looked at the Wiki page for the Ukraine? It may be able to help you.

According to Dvorzsák's gazetteer, the local church in Nagy-Dobrony, Bereg county was Reformed (Calvinist); Greek Catholic residents were recorded in Sztrabicsó, which was later known as Mezőterebes, and is now Strabychove, Ukraine.
FamilySearch has some Greek Catholic church records from the diocese (or eparchy) of Ungvár and Munkács, but they're all cataloged together, in Cyrillic (https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1411329 and https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1411333, and possibly others). The website Carpathian Reflections (https://www.carpathianreflections.com/) was founded for the purpose of making sense of this mess, but has since expanded with other material relevant to the area.

Thanks for the reply to question. I had looked at the area and sites but couldn't find any place for the time frame I am looking at. As you say it is a mess. Even translating the titles for the various films you don't get any indication of which one to search. Plus I don't read Cyrillic :-).

Will look at Ukrainian wiki and see if they have any info. May just have to wait on this line of family for a while. Thanks

Do explore Carpathian Reflections. The site navigation isn't glossy and pretty, but there's a lot of good material there, and the "price" for membership (some contributions to the database) is entirely reasonable.
