Bridge from Family Search to Ancestry - Public Trees
When I bridge from Family Search to Ancestry, the option under Filters for Family Trees in Ancestry is not there. All other options under Filters appears as well as the usual content related to that person on the Ancestry page. Nothing is different there.
If I log straight into my Ancestry account to search, the option under Filters for Family Trees does appear, just not with the bridging from Family Search.
I contacted Ancestry Support to ask about this. They logged into my account which showed Family Trees was an option under Filters which I could get logging straight into my account. It is only when I try to bridge from Family Search to Ancestry I don't get the Family Tree Filter option. Thus if I want to check for information on a person in the Family Tree section in Ancestry, I have to log straight into my Ancestry account and put in all the information that previously would bridge over automatically from Family Search. Name, date of birth, parents, sibs, relationships etc. etc.
I've never had a problem with this before and don't know how to correct it. Collaborating with other Family Trees is such a helpful in researching information.
Can anyone help me?
Kris

Hello @owl22,
Thanks for your question! We tried doing a search using a record from our pedigree in FamilySearch and our linked Ancestry account, and it is just as you describe it in your post.
We would like to do some further checking on this and then get back with you. We appreciate that you've reported it, and we will strive to get a resolution or explanation for you soon.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for responding!
Not being in the "technical world", ask my children, I appreciate knowing my question was not lost in cyberspace. lol
Will look forward to more information and hopefully a solution.
