SOMEBODY UPDATED MY INFORMATION THIS SEPT 2021 BUT PLACED MY MOTHER AS DECEASED. SHE IS IN FACT VERY ALIVE. THE ONE WHO UPDATED IS NOT EVEN KNOWN TO ME. MAY I SUGGEST THAT ANY CHANGES MUST BE COORDINATED WITH LIVING RELATIVES FIRST, OR ONLY RELATIVES ARE ALLOWED TO MAKE CHANGES.

how do i recover the account name that has relations? the one appearing is supposed to be deleted.

If you prefer a moderated or curated version of a collaborative tree, you can try Geni, WikiTree, or WeRelate.

On FamilySearch, if someone entered a public profile for someone whom you know to be still living, you can -- and should -- ask FS to change the status. You can do this by going to the profile's details page and clicking "edit" next to the Death field (in the Vitals box). In the popup, click the circle next to Living, click Save and follow the instructions.
