Hello,

I need help with a word after a death entry for a child.

I have the parents correct. I have the date. But I can't tell if a sex is entered after the Death word. Or what that word is after Dead.

Thank you ahead.

Smiles,

    Hello Anitra,

It is a boy. It says "dödf gossebarn". Dödf is shortening for "dödfött" and means stillborn. "Gosse" is boy and "barn" means child.

    Hope this helps,

    Maria

Nothing there that I can see would indicate the sex of the child in question. So often the sex is not noted which makes it difficult with an unnamed child. Sorry about that. It can be very frustrating to have such a thing, and sometimes it can or should be put in both ways if it is completely unknown.
