Yes, I found my ruler set up under "Settings". By moving the indicator to the left, the color became more prominent.

Thanks for the help. Also, my Stake Indexing Coordinator told me about this.

Just another suggestion for finding the ruler. When a batch is open on the screen and no ruler is seen on the image, first click on Data Entry which is above the image and on the left, and be sure "Show Ruler" is activated. If still no ruler is showing on the image, it may be hiding. Minimize the image size and you will probably see the ruler along the bottom or above the top of the image out of sight. Ckick on the ruer and drag it to the line where it is needed.
