I need help translating Swedish estate papers.
I have two pages of an 1853 Bouppteckning (Estate Papers) that I am having trouble translating from Onsjö häradsrätt.
I would like to learn what it says.

Sorry I can't help with this but have you tried posting it in the Nordic Group? Having looked there, I can see that somebody has been helped previously with translations.
Hope this helps

I can try to help you. No guarantee because sometimes it is hard to read old handwritten text, but it should not be a problem from 1853. Do you have a link to the bouppteckning?

Hello Maria,
Thank you for your reply. I am now working on an 1886 Bouppteckning for my great great great grandfather Anders Olsson. Ronnebergs-Önsjo-och Harjagers-domsaga-(M) FLLa:13 1886 No. 96 Images 6450-6480 pages 638,639, 640, 641 v159781.b6450.s638 (ArkivDigital)
I have typed up what I have so far in a word document.
I would like a better understanding of what it says and a few words on the inventory list.
I am in California. Are you in Sweden? We could set a time to correspond.
Thank you for your help.
