How to get a changed birth date to correct so that unnecessary hints disappear
When hints showed up indicating the mother was not old enough to have had the children in the family, I corrected the mother's birth year to 1838 from 1858. Although the new birth year shows in the Vital screen, it has not changed anywhere else in her records hence the hints remain. Is this a glitch in the programme or is there something else I should do other than refreshing the record numerous times which has not worked. Thanks.

Thank you that was brilliant! It was all correct with the standardized date so I used the trick of deleting the year and then adding back in and it cleared the problem. Thanks again.

Please click edit beside the birth date.
On occasion, a date will be corrected on the top line, but isn’t changed on the standardized line.
The top line displays in the banner, but the standardized date is used for calculating dates & ages.
Please let us know if this resolves your issue.
