Hello, I am from Brazil (excuse my english) and I was looking for my family tree when I discovered more than 15 ascendents on my grandmothers family, I couldn't even get to the final ascendent. There is so MANY people, they are like from 500 before Christ!! I am just amazed! So... I would really like to know if I can trust the tree. I am new to the site so I don't know how to verify all this information. Please, help me :D

On a Person page (PID) click View Tree. Select Fan Chart and 7 Generations and then select either Sources or Research Helps. Look to see how many research problems there are, and how many sources are attached.

Usually, but not always, the part of a tree with many sources can be trusted. Examine the sources. Are they FamilySearch historical records with the little tree icon, or are they sources elsewhere? If sources elsewhere, can you see the sources? Are they good quality?

Ow interesting! I am going to do all that and check the sources to see if I can trust them. Thank you so much! Really helpful. 🤝 🙌
