Did John H. Wadsworth desertion record get revested

The links in my prior post are both index cards, rather than the letters or documents themselves. Both reference the request for removal of desertion, but provide no details on what the result of that request was.

1. The first item is for an index card for the letter from John H Wadsworth to Dr. C H Brown. It's labeled a "cross reference card".
   
2. The second item either is the reverse index or is for Dr. C H Brown's reply. That is labeled a "general index card".

As far as I can tell, the actual letter(s) have not been scanned in and put online yet. The only way to see these letters would be to contact the National Archives and request a copy. They should be able to tell you the next steps to get the records.

In your message, in addition to your goal of finding information about if the desertion charge was removed, I'd also let them know about those two index cards referencing the case. I will post that data again below:
