Helping guest, checking on restricted film
Hello. I am assisting a guest who is having trouble signing into the community. This is her question.
Film 1793228/ DGS 4405921 which is part of this catalog record set: FamilySearch Catalog: Cirkevná matrika, 1772-1933
Is this film restriction correct? Other films in set are available.
Thank you.

@karenrasmussen There was a typo in the metadata—1951 instead of 1851. The film should be accessible after permissions are auto-updated. Please express our apologies to the guest.

Hi, many thanks for your help. I am the guest who enquired on this error and I have now been able to log into the community forum. Is there an approximate timeframe for when this page's permission is auto-updated once the metadata has been amended? Kind regards Martina

@Martina6,054 It should not be more than a couple of weeks, unless there is an additional problem. Let me know if it doesn't get corrected.

Hi, thanks for you help so far. I wonder if there is an additional problem as the film is not accessible still. Kind regards, Martina

@Martina6,054 Sorry for the delay, but for some reason the date reverted back to 1951. Let's try it again.

Give it at least a couple of weeks to update. I don't know how much backlog there is in the system right now.

Hi,
I hope you don't mind me reaching out again, but for some reason I'm still not able to access the image. I wonder if there is an additional problem. Kind regards, Martina

@Martina6,054 I checked this film again and found there were a few pages of baptisms from 1929-1933 and that has to be why the permissions remain at No Access. I didn't see that in the film viewer metadata but it must be embedded because I see it in the catalog date coverage.
I apologize for the oversight in assuming the typo was the only issue and I wish it had been!

Hi, thanks for getting back to me. Surely this must be a typo and the dates are supposed to be 1829-1833. Is this error fixable at all?
Kind regards,
Martina

@Martina6,054 No, it's not an error. There is a handful of baptismal records dated 1929-1933 on the film. That's all it takes for restricted access to be applied.
