Follow-up of U.S. WWII Enlistment Records - they are missing birth year and current residence
Volunteers attached WWII Enlistment Records to soldiers. Unlike NARA and Ancestry.com records, FamilySearch records do not contain the year of birth nor the currently residence of the inductee. It would help us if this information was included.
Can FamilySearch amend the U.S. WWII Enlistment Records to include the year of birth and current state and county of the inductee?

Of the 2 record personas (KM61-6J6,K851-56T) from this collection in my analysis database, both have PR_BIRTH_YEAR metadata, and one has PR_RESIDENCE_STATE metadata, but none of this information is reflected on the relevant persona displays https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KM61-6J6?lang=en and https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:K851-56T?lang=en.

So this doesn't sound like an indexing problem, more a problem with mapping of this collection's metadata to the display.
@sc woz I thought Suggest an Idea was about functionality, not the sort of information/Historical Records problem (I'd say bug) being discussed here?
@CT150 if using the Suggest an Idea form suggested by @sc woz, be careful to keep a local copy of what you enter, as you will have no access to the content of the form post submission.

@CT150 I just reviewed the companion thread for this collection, where the name field was removed from sources but still appears in Record Details and Source Linker:
In this case, the birth date field is being dropped from Record Details even though it is displayed in our Search database:

The index for this was provided by NARA and the collection content reveals what data fields were included. I believe "Birthplace" was labeled as PR_RESIDENCE_STATE in Mandy's example and Search Results does display the birthplace:
In summary, Mandy seems to be correct that it's a bug with mapping and not an indexing error. The data is there but something is missing in the instruction to display it.
I'm not sure if both of these issues can be fixed together, but we'll ensure they get reported to records engineers.
