When will Louisiana death records for the late 1960s be available?
When will Louisiana death records for the late 1960s be available on FamilySearch.org? Does anyone here know?
I'm especially interested in taking a look at the death record of male supercentenarian James Monroe King (1854-1967), who might have been the oldest documented man ever at the time of his death at age 112. He died in Louisiana in June 1967.

Records for Louisiana deaths that occurred 50 years or more ago are available from Louisiana: https://www.sos.la.gov/HistoricalResources/ResearchHistoricalRecords/Pages/OnlinePublicVitalRecordsIndex.aspx

Yes, I already knew that, but if they're on FamilySearch.org, then I won't have to pay in order to see them.

As long as the state can make a small amount of money from selling them, it's unlikely they will allow FamilySearch to put them on FS for free.

Why were the earlier Louisiana death records put online for free? Even from the 1950s?
