Issue adding PDF sources that are already in Gallery
Hi all,
I have recently been trying to transfer/copy some 'memories' I have uploaded (in this case PDF scans of Newspaper Articles into the sources tab as they seem to be better suited there. I am finding though that when trying to 'Select from Gallery' only the image file types are visible as options to upload from the gallery which means I can't connect it with the PDF Memory I have already uploaded and also can't upload it again because Family Search rightly sees it as a duplicate.
Is anyone else having this issue? Why can't PDFs be added from the memory gallery to new sources?

There are some limitations to the flexibility of PDF documents in FamilySearch. This article gives a short list of those, some of which may be what you are experiencing when trying to attach or tag a PDF to a person.

I dont see anything in the link you provided that indicates a pdf cannot be used a source.

There seems to be a bug attaching pdf files to a person when using the new person page. Switch to the old person page and try again.
