Saw Relatives house with missing Street, but I know it, what would be done?
I just looked at a relatives street of mine, which had no street. Obviously if we don't know it it's blank. What if we know the street information, or other information? Particularly street is what I'm asking. In my case, I've been to the house a lot, and sent cards and letters there all the time, and I know it was in the family and members of my family lived there during the prior censuses as well. In fact, the address would still be the same today as it was twenty years ago.
The issue is, in this case it was fairly rural (outside of a small town) and could have been a dirt road then. There are new roads created all the time, and maybe it didn't have a name in 1950. But it does now, so what do you do? I ask this because many people are doing cities/counties or areas they grew up with.

@MSCHNEP, if it is blank, then instructions say to just leave it blank. Even if you have personal knowledge, go ahead and leave it blank. When it is published, if you then attach it as a source, you can make a note at that time of the street address currently.
Thank you for brining this up as I'm sure there are others with the same question.

It's a little late in the game now I suppose, but I believe it would have been better if the software allowed one to enter a few small notes for corrections in addition to the transcribed text. This would keep reviewers happier because they wouldn't have the frustration of having to leave errors and missing details (street names, for example) unaddressed. Although it helps to know we'll eventually have the opportunity to correct everything, it's more practical to do so at the time each issue is recognized.

I agree. Though I haven’t done a lot, as I’m busy with work and other stuff. Also I have/had a number of families that I avoided due to bad penmanship- the street/hame was there, but it was hard to read. I let others do that, as I want to be as accurate as I could for people using it for research. I have seen lots of comments about how people couldn’t add information in. There were lots of issues it seems, especially with AI. In my case, I know my family lived at that address for decades prior to 1950, and I visited it frequently. That said, the road could have been unlabeled too (it was outside a small town-fairly rural location. But there were issues I saw where only the first name was written (and it was clearly a.spouse or child who shared the same last name. Others have reported missing records or wrong data from relatives in the published data.
There’s been lots of issues, that’s for sure but I’m glad they are working it out for the future.

Personally, if I KNEW the name of the street, I would add it.
That's what I did for MY family name (4 letter - ALL indexed by AI completely WRONG! I also 'corrected' the Street name (which was a bit closer than the Surname) to the CORRECT one. I DID live there & was old enough to actually remember the street NAME & MY NAME!
But I tend to be a bit 'nonconformist' sometimes, so you may disregard this comment, if you like.
