Skipping names
The blue line will sometimes skip names in a family review. When I unclick the box of the person it skips to and then click on the box of the name it skipped, I can correct this problem UNTIL the end of the page when it just completely skips the last name with no way to fix it for me.
I also struggle when there are duplicate last names in different households. For some reason the system highlights the surname of the first person in the list (different household) and the first name of the person I should be indexing.
There just seems to be a lot of problems with the system and no way of knowing how to solve the problem so it makes me not want to do it. I am an experienced indexer, just don't get this system for the 1950 Census. Seems to have too many oddities.

@sabrinagillmore1, thank you for your question regarding the skipped name at the bottom of the page. Another reviewer will be able to pick the name up. It may be a possibility that it has already been reviewed. It is hard to know exactly what you are seeing. The important thing is to make sure the names haven't already been indexed which is indicated with the green circle next to the name on the right side. If the last name on the list doesn't have a green check beside it and the system skips it, you can go ahead and report the issue.
Please report when the highlight isn't on the correct surname of the family that you are reviewing. Click on "Report a Problem" in the upper right corner of the page and then click "This family can't be grouped together". Make sure the correct family is checked and continue to review. Once in a while the name above will take on the name you are reviewing. This has been reported and engineers are aware of the issue. It will be corrected. Do the best you can!
There are many challenges for sure with the AI indexing. We appreciate all that you are doing and your efforts! Thank you!

LINE or ROW NUMBERS!!!!
I have found it VERY helpful to always check and verify the line or ROW NUMBERS of each entry.
This helps greatly with keeping up (or back) with a migrating highlight.
When reviewing a migrated highlight page, the only way I've found to CORRECT the page is to coordinate BY row numbers - while modifying incorrect info; BUT it also also requires being very careful with the 'reviewed' rows.
If the page is 'complete,' or nearly so, any change can often cause the page to 'declare itself finished' and offer to go to another page.
