What do you do when reviewing families (1950 Census) and the list of names are a continuation of previous page?

@DayEdithFarnsworth1, thank you for your question of a continued family. Skip the household.
- At the bottom of the page, click Skip Household.
- In the list of possible issues, click the box for Other.
- Describe the issue.
- Click Submit.
I hope that this helps answer your question.

When I am indexing a family on a page, sometimes the names at the top of the page are carry overs from the preceding page. How to I go back to the previous page and tie these families toghether?

Like all the mistakes I see that I cannot immediately correct, I use the feedback button to write a detailed description of the issue, then continue to work all the reviews for individuals in family groups that I can do for the rest of census image. I'm thinking there must be a team that resolves the many issues and even tweaks the AI code to improve the process, maybe even adding a way to see and correct previous pages. Never know. If the error is rare, no! but if it is common... they're doing a good job of finding improvements!

I didn't see a place to leave feedback. I will look more closely next time. Thank You.

I was wondering what to do when the first person on the page is not the head of the family. When the family is continued on the next page I was able to go beyond but when you start with the children I don’t find a way to add their parents from the previous page.
After reading this message I wonder if that is part of cathies issue.

After I finish editing a page, what do I press to go to the very next page.

@Robert Garcia_1 If you are doing Name Review, you do not have that option. If you are doing Family Review, you should see an option that gives you the opportunity to see if the last family on the page is continued to the next page.

In my experience, that does NOT seem possible. However, by answering the question after finishing a page about continuing, it often takes you to the next (or similar) page. If not, you still get more (similar) 'work' to do. 😊

I’ve had a few instances where I’m reviewing households and it is apparent that the first names on the page are part of the previous page. I’ve been skipping those because there doesn’t appear to be a way to go back a page (similar to the way you can go the the next page when a household is at the bottom.) Is this the correct approach, or have I missed an option?

Yes, you should Skip Household. I select the Other option and enter "Part of household on previous page."
As you said, the program will later offer the option for someone to add them to the household on the previous page.
