Do we go ahead and review the family, or do we skip the household?

I have a similar question about Name Review. If the surname was the same as the head of household, the enumerator entered a long dash line for the surname. Sometimes the index skips the surname and sometimes it shows a dash for the surname. If the dash is present, should it be corrected to the surname, should it be blanked out, or should the dash be considered correct? Or will this get corrected in Family Review?

Why can't we just add the surname that is missing? If reviewing families is so important we should be able to make changes like this to ensure it actually gets done. How do I know those missing surmanes will ever be corrected?
It is also very frustrating that I have to look so hard to find answer to my questions.

All you can do at this point is click the feedback button and let someone know.

I felt the same way, but most of my questions were answered in the FAQ's (when I found them! Ha) : Click on "1950 US Census", right above "FamilySearch Help" - to the right on this screen.
The FAQ's have articles attached for most everything. We can't add them because the computer marked them as missing fields. They have to be added internally. I'm sure the internal folks would rather we be able to add them as well.😁 Hopefully the engineers can find a fix.

I totally got it wrong! That is not the link you need. I had to go searching again, but here is where I found the most help.
1950 US Census Family Review • FamilySearch
