Prevent living people being deceased in FamilySearch

I have been finding a disturbing number of persons listed as deceased with the only source being they are listed in the 1940 census. With the 1950 census being released in April, there may be another surge of persons listed as deceased.
I do not know what the answer is, but perhaps for persons born after something like 1920, perhaps a pop up box asking for a death date or proof of death.

I believe I have read where an automatic process at one point marked everyone in an obituary index as deceased. I don't recall the details, but this may be the problem.

FamilySearch already makes you put in a reason for people born after a certain year the reason why they are deceased.

That's only true if you're creating a new person within the source linker. If you go to a person's detail page and create a new spouse, parent, or sibling, there's no warning or requirement.
At the very least, the 110-year rule should be highly emphasized in FS documentation. I've seen plenty of cases where I go into the deceased information and find something like "80 years old, probably dead" as the reason for death.

I hope FS would emphasize the 110-year rule much more. There are plenty of cases I've seen where I go into a person's deceased information and find a decease reason like "Was 80 years old, probably dead."
