MyHeritage Tree Import
I recently uploaded a large tree I had on MyHeritage. When I go to view it, Family Tree shows all the individuals and potential matches, add to Family Tree, Already in Family Tree, etc.
My tree import shows 2407 names that can be added to FamilySearch. Yet when I click on a name, it will give me only an option to add it and then it creates a new individual ID number for that person in FamilySearch. That's fine for people not in the FamilySearch tree. I thought I'd cross check them and found that that person already does exist in FamilySearch, but it doesn't show it in the FamilySerach "already in Family Tree" drop down list. There's no option to compare the names in both trees and keep what already exists in FamilySearch, then delete it from the GEDCOM import list. Some of the differences I notices is in slight name changes, birth dates, etc. So it seems to me that there should be a possible duplicates list after doing an import.
Wondering if any one else has this problem and what the solution might be if there is one. Otherwise I'll have to open 2 screens and search/compare each indivdual one by one, but still can't delete the name from the "Already in Family Tree" list....
