Will this upgrade give the community a better avenue to actually communicate their confusion and dispair ? The current system seems to have little benefit other than venting spleen. Since the most recent round of improvements, this is all I can do.

Hello @LDS Search Test,
Would you please elaborate on your question? Is the confusion and despair you noted related to the community, FamilySearch.org (or specific features or function on FamilySearch.org)?
Best,
Mark

Its here ...
Come 5:00pm (ie. 17:00 Hours) on Monday, 1 November 2021,
MY Local Time (ie. UTC +11 Hours - with "Daylight Savings")
Right on the 'Button'.
I has responding is a post (OLD Version); and, when I submitted my 'Comment' ... there it was, NEW Version.
Obviously, it will take those x2 or so Hours for ALL to be smoothly transitioned; as, I notice, posts are missing.
Just though I would let you know ...
Brett

I'm having SIGNIFICANT problems with familysearch while using a firefox browser.
Being able to select a person in the source window is not possible. It seems the names are "graphics", not links.
I can't see all the research helps at once. I get a mostly blank page.
It's getting more and more painful to use your site. Yes, this works in Chrome, but I have my security tools in firefox, and prefer to use that browser. Your site says firefox and Chrome are supported. It's getting harder to use firefox on familysearch.
Please help! And test code before releasing! (Yes, I've restarted the browser and wiped my cookies.)

G'Day, Mate
Its 'Brett'.
I happen, to have been using "FireFox", all afternoon/evening (ie. my 'Local' Time: UTC +11 Hours), without any significant problems/issues.
But ...
That Said ...
I am using, the Latest version, of the "Browser", of 'Mozilla' "FireFox" [ ie. 94.0.1 (64-bit) ], with the Latest version, of the "Operating System", of 'Microsoft' "Windows 10".
Plus, whereas, in 'Google' "Chrome", I have an "Add Blocker", in 'Mozilla' "FireFox", I DO NOT have such.
I wonder, if it is ANY "Special", Security Features, that you may have 'activated', may causing/contributing to the problem/issue.
The only few things that I can suggest, if you have not already tried, are:
(1) The "Oldie"; but, sometimes, still the "Goodie" ...
...... Regarding the "Browser" = "Clear", the, "Cookies" and "Cache" (and, even, the "Browsing History")
...... [ Well, it 'looks' like you have already done that ... ]
and, ... IF, that does not work; THEN, ...
(1) "Turn Off", any SIGNIFICANT "Special", Security Features, that you may have 'activated'
...... Just for a (Quick) "Test", to 'see', is such are causing/contributing to the problem/issue.
I am sorry, I cannot be of any real help/assistance.

@Justin Masters, FamilySearch works perfectly fine in Firefox for me. What version of the browser are you using? Are you running plug-ins or extensions in it that are interfering with functions? FS only commits to the most recent couple of versions of its supported browsers, and doesn't commit to anything when users turn off or block browser functions.
(I'm on Windows 10, running Firefox 94.0.1, which it says is "up to date".)

You keep making changes - and they are not for the better ! In the past, I would go into Communities and click on Temple - there would be a place called "Ask Question". But now, no matter what I click on or where I try to go, there is no place called "Ask Question" under Temple. Where have you put it? ? ? ?

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
[ And, I happen to be a member of the Church ... ]
FYI
The "Ask a Question" is STILL there in the 'Category' of "Temple" ...
https://community.familysearch.org/en/categories/temple
Pictorially ...
Being the URL:
https://community.familysearch.org/en/post/question/temple
As an aside ...
Question: What, "Browser"; and, "Operating System", are you using?
IF, I recall; THEN, there was a problem/issue with a particular "Browser"; where, this appeared.
Firstly ...
Sometimes the reason ...
Make sure that the "Versions" of your, "Browser"; and, "Operating System", are BOTH, up-to-date, with the latest releases.
IF, they are not; THEN. up-date them.
Secondly ...
Try this "Oldie"; but, sometimes, still a 'Goodie" ...
"Clear" the, "Cookies" and "Cache", of your "Browser" (and, even, the "Browsing History").
Here are some "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch':
How do I delete cookies from FamilySearch?
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-delete-cookies-from-familysearch
How do I set my cookie preferences?
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-set-my-cookie-preferences
How do I delete all of the cookies and temporary files stored by my internet browser?
I hope that this may help/assist, somewhat.

I never use FamilySearch anymore. You have ruined it. Why don't you go back to the way it was? I don't understand why you changed it!
