Hello
I need some help finding more information on my aunt Eva Baran married to Rene Pidance in Meudon France. A friend just recently found her death notice on your website. She has been lost since the war. I’d love to find out more about her did she have children etc.
Eva was the youngest born in Theodor and Anna Baran from Nanowa Poland. I have not been able to find either of their birth records. My mother was born in 1923 and Eva was born in 1925. They were both taken into forced labour in Germany and never saw one another again
appreciate any help cheers

I need to know how to report some information that I know is incorrect. My second Great Grandmother, Myra, was born to Eli Goodwin and Susan Nichols. Susan passed away when Myra was 2 years old. She was adopted by Daniel and Mary Nichols. I'm just not sure exactly how to get it corrected.
Thank-you!

I came across some profiles that have very specific dates but NO sources.
they're fairly distant relatives.
I'm wondering whether Caroline Maria and Maria are the same.
But no sources or research helps.

Also, when I import a GEDCOM From GENI, the men's last names don't come across. DOesn't matter whether I use birth name or last name.
I suspect GENI malforms the GEDCOM data, but a GENI edit would be a help.

I'm looking for any information on my Great Great Great Grandparents, Antone Teodoro Silva and Mary Gloria (Rapozo) Silva. They had a lot of children, my Great Grandmother (Mathilda Grace Silva) being the first (and only one born in Portugal).

I am trying to confirm a family story. I have a letter (see attached) from my grandmother, Lesley Vivian Potter Evans (1901-1996). An older 2nd cousin edited the parts I couldn't read, and added his own comments. I have don DNA testing with Ancestry.com and 23& Me. Only 23 & Me show any Native American ancestry. I would love to identify the Native American relative in my tree. I have a tree on Ancestry.com and https://www.familysearch.org/tree/pedigree/landscape/LD3L-P5M

Below is an excerpt from her letter:
The Odekirk family lived in Pennsylvania. Great Grandfather Odekirk was a ship captain and sailed up and down the Atlantic coast trading with the Indians. He met a chief’s daughter and married her. My grandfather was born to them. How he came West, I don’t know. He met and married Emma McCann and they lived in Utah and Idaho. Emma, my grandmother died when my mother was 15. He married again and raised another family, but I don’t know much about them. He died in Twin Falls, Idaho when I was small. (3) There is extensive and interesting documentation of the Odekirk family. My sis and I went to an Odekirk reunion in Salt Lake a few years back. There is a published genealogy of the Odekirk family dating back to when they came to America – 1600’s. Fairly large book. I think it is still available. It is really interesting. The spelling has several variations—Oudekirk, etc., but are all from the same roots. There is also an Odekirk newsletter published quarterly that I subscribe. I’ll take a look at some of the material and see what else about the Odekirks I can find that you may be interested in.
The Indian Connection: I’m not sure. I’ve puzzled about this myself. Grace showed me a photo of John Odekirk and said that he was ¼ Cherokee Indian, but didn’t say how the connection went. The ship captain-Indian maiden is certainly the story I’ve heard, but could never pin down. We have been trying to figure out the same kind of connection on my mom’s side—even though we have a healthy amount of Scotch-Irish blood, one of my mom’s aunts (on her mom’s side) looked like she was right off the reservation. While my brother Roger and I have inherited the Scotch Irish look, my brother Richard could pass for a Cherokee any day—after a few days in the summer sun.

Hello! I’m needing some assistance locating my great grandmother Tressia Gass York. The only records I was able to find was a marriage certificate when she married my great grandfather Edgar York on June 11 1920. Sometime between 1920 to 1930 she passed away (1930 census listed him as a widow). I’ve been searching for a birth certificate or death certificate on Tressia but have not had any luck not even a birth certificate of my grandmother with her listed as the mother.
any help will be appreciated
thank you!

Hi
I need your assistance in allocating records or Will of John Nxaba(1935-30 October 1905). Even though they used Interstate Law to distribute his Estate, but G. H. Hulett has mention on the documents that I have attached that the Will was drawn up him and it was signed by John Nxaba. This documents came from the Source of South Africa Pietermaritzburg Archives Repository. I haven't had any luck in finding any of those records.

I am trying to locate information regarding my great grandparents born in Mexico, specially in the State of Coahuila, Mexico. Both Ancestry.com and Myheritage.com do not have anything prior to 1800 regarding my grandfather, Juan Jimenez, born in 1800 in San Buena Ventura, Coahuila, Mexico. Is there a specific website that contains information of people born in the State of Coahuila from 1500 to 1800? I was informed by one of uncles that Jimenez' also lived in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico which is located a short distance from San Buena Ventura, Mexico.

Good morning,
Good morning,
I have been looking for my ancestors and I have come to an apparent dead end. I have found my ancestors but I cannot proceed further since there are no available records of any kind for Jose Maria Alandia (b 1828) who was (1st Married Ynoncencia Corominola) and then Married to Tomasa Ballesteros (2nd Marriage) from Bolivia. Another ancestor that I cannot proceed with going beyond Eugenio Aguayo who was married to Matiasa Ocanto but I cannot find their marriage certificates ( I am assuming they were born early 1800s or late 1790s)

Dear Helpers,
I am trying to locate Meldezettel of my grandmother.
Meldezettel is POPULATION REGISTERS for individual residents of the city of Vienna, Austria.
The documents are scanned and the microfilms are coded in a special way (needing to convert the name in a special way).
I am having trouble to locate it and I wonder if someone can help either to find the right mikrofilm or how to convert the name correctly.
My grandmother's name was: HHAGLER ROSE. She was born in Vienna (12th October 1912) and left in 1936.
I found one microfilm #008723970, but no luck:
It starts with HAGER and then moves to Hau.... I looked well and it seems that HAGLER is not there, but I know it may be in another file.
Here is the explanation about this source of DATA: https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1148422?availability=Family%20History%20Library
Would be grateful to receive help.
Thank you!
