What if the record I'm indexing doesn't say the record type and there are names to index in it?
I'm working on a batch from the México, Sinaloa—Registro Civil, 1861–1929 [Parte L] project, and a record starts at the end of my batch that has one name in it. Then, the page ends and continues on to the next batch, which I can't see. So, I added an entry so I could put the name in. I can't tell what record type it is, but the "tipo de registro" field requires that a record type is input before any names can be indexed in it. I assume it might be a birth record, since the batch it's in contained two birth records before it. I put that it was a birth record in order to index the name I found in it, however, I also couldn't tell which entry field to put the name in since the page ended and continued on to the next batch before any of that information was given. So, my two questions here: 1) Is it ok to guess at the record type when there is a name/are names to index, since that field is required before being able to move on? 2) If I don't know which field to put a name in, can I guess at it and then submit the batch anyway?
