Hi, I have come across errors in my tree that have a wrong person as my ancestor. In trying to corr

to merge them bc I can't verify all the info so I created a new person. I marked my ancestors entry as "Preferred" but when I look at my tree, the other wife's info, children are there. Why does it not show the pair I marked? Thanks for any help!

    Jane, I would join the Family Search Tips and Tricks Community, then ask your question there. Once I was connected twice to a great grandfather, he was listed as my 4th great grandfather as well. I got help correcting it from a Family Search Employee. This community will have people who will know the exact answer for you to get it corrected. Good Luck, Pam Whicker
