Jamie Gebara Frost said: Could FamilySearch generate a message letting us know when someone whose ordinances we have reserved has been merged? This would be helpful for both the person whose reservation is lost and the person whose version of the individual remains intact. This would help us know to check our cards (or destroy the card) to make sure that we aren't duplicating ordinances that have already been performed.

Amy Archibald said: You can get this notification already if you have placed a Watch on the person whom you have reserved ordinances for. You'll get notified of any changes to that person - including merges.

Also, it is helpful to only print the ordinance that you will do at your next temple visit instead of printing multiple cards with multiple ordinances. This way, if there is a merge, it wouldn't affect any of your printed cards. Since you will only have the one or few ordinance cards printed with single ordinances each.
