The Vienna/Wien Meldezettel, 1930-1940 Catalog
Hello,
Up until recently, FamilySearch had the Vienna Meldezettel 1930-1940 catalog microfilms available on the site.
https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/1148422?availability=Family%20History%20Library
I'm disappointed to see these were taken offline.
I have researched my family records for days and managed to find incredible information, however I only kept the links.
Do you have information whether this catalog is expected to be available online soon again?
And if not, is there anywhere else online that this might be available?
Thank you,
Avner

This article should answer your question: Why did some historical records disappear from FamilySearch?
We followed your link and see that the films on this page show with microfilm reels and DGS numbers. That means that they have been digitized, but have viewing restrictions. You can see them at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. However, please note that some say Granite Mountain Record Vault, while others say Family History Library International B1 Floor Film. The ones that say Granite Mountain Record Vault would have to be ordered ahead. This article explains how to do that: How do I preorder films at the Family History Library?
If you are not close to Salt Lake City, you might also try looking in the Research Wiki to see if you can find other, similar records. Here is a link to a page that may help you: Vienna, Austria Genealogy. If you are not familiar with the Research Wiki, this article will explain about it: What is the FamilySearch research wiki? Please follow the links at the bottom of the article also for more information.
