How to add a son/child when this Pops up each time?
Save failed. You are trying to create a relationship between a living person and a deceased person who died more than 150 years ago.
G89B-K8S Chad Chaffee is married to G891-M3C Monik Fa Carranza [not sure of her birth year just yet] and their son is Samson Chaffee. He was born 9 May 2012 and I can't seem to get him added because of the notice up above.

Hi @Fl Frog
The problem is that Chad's spouse doesn't have a full birth date. FamilySearch can't handle partial dates without a birth year and has standardised the birth date as July 0024, and therefore thinks that she is deceased. To overcome the problem in the short term, just take the spouse's birth date out until you find out what it is and the son should be able to be added.

FYI
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
We cannot 'see' (ie. get access to) either, Chad CHAFFEE ( G89B-K8S ); or, Monik Fa CARRANAZ ( G891-M3C ); as, their status is most likely "Living"; and, they are in your "Private Spaces".
Just a passing thought.
Check the ANY 'Dates' associated with both, Chad CHAFFEE ( G89B-K8S ); and, Monik Fa CARRANAZ ( G891-M3C ), to make sure, that ALL of the 'Dates', have been "Standardized" CORRECTLY; and, NONE are more than x150 Years ago.
Believe me, it happens ...
We have all ... been there ... and, done that ... at some stage.
Again, just a passing thought.

ps: IF, that is NOT the case; THEN, come back here and advise.

Yep - these 2 are alive. I have added them to my son's side of the tree - to get the in-laws involved/interested in Chaffee's history makers.
My codes are: flafrog and froggy11230 to see IF you can suggest how to add their son.
The sketchy dates are what I receive(d) so far.

FYI
Again ...
We (ie. the 'lowly' User/Patron) CANNOT 'see' (ie. get access to) either, Chad CHAFFEE ( G89B-K8S ); or, Monik Fa CARRANAZ ( G891-M3C ); as, their status is "Living"; and, they are in your "Private Spaces".
Whereas ...
The "Moderators" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" (Personnel) ] (in this case, 'Norm'), who function in the Forum, do have a "Higher" ('Administrative') 'Level" of Access; and, therefore, can most likely 'see' (ie. get access to), Chad CHAFFEE ( G89B-K8S ); and, Monik Fa CARRANAZ ( G891-M3C ); despite, the fact, of their status being "Living"; and, in your "Private Spaces".
IF, as "Moderator", 'Norm', indicates, that the "Year" of "Birth" for Monik Fa CARRANAZ ( G891-M3C ) has been "Standardised"; as, "July 0024"; THEN, as far as the "System" is concerned, she should be WELL Over x150 Years of age.
IF, you DO NOT know (or, at least, have an approximate 'Year') when an individual/person was "Born"; THEN, it is best to leave it "Blank", even if you know the 'Date' and 'Month'.
Otherwise ...
IF, you have inadvertently omitted the 'Year' of "Birth" from Monik Fa CARRANAZ ( G891-M3C ); THEN, simply go back in and "Edit" her "Birth" Record, by ADDING the 'Year' (and, of course, "Standardising" that 'Date'. Doing that may address/fix you problem/issue.
I hope this helps.

@Fl Frog unless all these living persons have given you their informed consent to add them to Family Tree, you may be risking seriously offending them.
Adding your own descendants and your own ancestors is one thing, but working laterally into living cousins and inlaws is another.

If you take the mother's birth date out, it will allow you to add the son's details.
