Allow word document uploads in stories

I would love it if you allowed us to upload word and pages documents to the stories sections so that we could maintain the formatting used in stories. Especially for chronologies, these stories can get hard to read when you are limited to the really basic formatting available in FamilySearch's text system.

Word & Pages documents may be converted to PDF files & uploaded as a document.

PDFs have several advantages—photos or other image files may be placed inline with text. Specialized formatting, highlighting, footnotes, & multiple pages are supported.

Most users have the ability to “read” PDF file.

I sooo agree! When there are a lot of documents the PDF stories get lost. They are a story and should be allowed in the story section where people expect to find them!

While most people have the ability to view PDFs, converting Word documents to PDF is time consuming if you already have them saved in that format. So allowing not just Word documents but Rich Text Documents (which are also something most people have the ability to view) would make sense.
