HEIC Format

I was trying to post a memory to my Grandmother's page. I had recently updated my phone and had no idea that it was taking pictures in a different format. My understanding is that this is a better format.

"The standard covers multimedia files that can also include other media streams, such as timed text, audio and video. A HEIF image using High Efficiency Video Coding, HEVC, requires less storage space than the equivalent quality JPEG.[1][2] HEIF also supports animation, and is capable of storing more information[3]" From Wikipedia.

Besides the space savings, it also appears to include audio and video formats. This seems like it would be a big cost saving for FS and worth a programers time to add the format to your acceptable list.

It would also be user-friendly to us old folks who don't know we are using a new format and are spending precious Family History time trying to figure out why our photos won't upload.

Thanks so much for your time.
