Indexing records like US, Virginia—Marriage Records, 1853–1935 several fields need the "blank" entry. When I attempt to enter "blank" into several fields the cursor jumps randomly for several seconds.

Hello Henry Brent! Have you tried using the handy tool that copies the blank forward to all matching fields?

In the field where all blanks are required, like the birth days, months, and years, put the <blank> Ctrl/Cmd + B entry in the first entry. Put your cursor back on that entry and click the 6th tool from the right. If you use it while in column mode you will see all the blank entries fill themselves in a second.
